Marriott will use its Meetings Imagined inspiration tool to bring meeting planners big rewards in 2017.
Essentially a Pinterest tool for meetings, Meetings Imagined’s Inspiration Gallery features photos of event setups—everything from floral arrangements to lighting to linens to food—that inspire ideas. Meeting planners can “heart” different arrangements that they can then forward for executive feedback or send to a Marriott convention sales manager to see if similar setups are available at a specific hotel. The Marriott tool also offers expert tips and trend articles, and now it is offering planners the chance to win a $5,000 meeting credit that can be used at 265 participating JW Marriott, Autograph Collection, Renaissance, Marriott and Gaylord Hotels across the U.S.
The way this hot deal works is that planners will enter to win one of six monthly Meetings Imagined upgraded experience prizes, worth $5,000 each, by submitting an RFP or group lead for events to be held through 2017. The prize will be awarded in the form of a meeting credit that can be used towards creative F&B options, room setups, decor or whatever else the Marriott event manager can help inspire.
