With more than 2.1 million square feet of combined meeting and exhibit space, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) helped Orlando lead the way with meetings recovery by hosting more than 200 live events alone since July 2020. A new alliance that designates Orlando Health as the Official Health and Wellness Partner of Visit Orlando provides event planners with customizable health solutions for their events through an Orlando Health Virtual Care Center, which will open later this year at the OCCC.

Orlando is home to more than 6,000 restaurants, with new establishments opening every year, representing 40 international cuisines found throughout the city’s convention district and diverse neighborhoods. For the first time ever, the area’s culinary scene captured the attention of the MICHELIN Guide, known around the world for their famed star rating system. In total, 33 Orlando restaurants earned recognition, including four starred venues, seven Bib Gourmands and 22 Recommended, confirming that Orlando has an exceptional culinary community.

Orlando International Airport provides accessibility and abundant international and domestic flights in and out of Orlando, with nonstop service from approximately 150 global destinations. It’s now even easier to travel to and from Orlando with the recent opening of the airport’s South Terminal Complex. The new facility adds 15 gates and includes a seamless, low-touch environment with a state-of-the-art radio frequency baggage system, numerous shops, restaurants and lounge facilities.
