Louisville, Ky., welcomed its tallest hotel with the official debut of the 30-story Omni Louisville Hotel.

The 612-room property features a ton of amenities, and here are five that groups should be excited about.

Falls City Market

There is a 20,000-sf urban market and food hall that is not only convenient for attendees to pick up prepared foods and beverages, but it also provides a community aspect that invites anyone staying here to feel like a local. Louisville’s Heine Brothers’ Coffee, a bookstore, bakery, wine shop and flower store are a few highlights.

A Speakeasy & Bourbon Retailer

Meeting planners can organize a popular Kentucky bourbon tasting at Lewis + Louis, an onsite bourbon retail and tasting room. Even more interactive, Pin + Proof is a speakeasy with four bowling lanes—ideal for some serious team bonding.

Local Lifestyle

Attendees can peruse local artwork in the lobby art gallery, while the Library Bar—yes, lined with book shelves—also features local art alongside delicious lattes in the morning or creative cocktails in the evening. An urban rooftop pool, signature spa and fitness center round also provide a way to unwind after the meeting ends.

Dining Outlets

Attendees won’t have to venture far for a fine-dining experience, with Bob’s Steak & Chop House serving up prime cut steaks onsite. Neighborhood Services offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with both indoor and outdoor dining, while The Water Company bar and grill also dishes out light bites and cocktails poolside during the day.

Massive Meeting Space

With 70,000 sf of meeting space, the property is ready for large groups who can also take advantage of the 300,000-sf Kentucky International Convention Center, located just a block away.
