The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao are now InterContinental Alliance Resorts, offering new possibilities and perks for MICE events.
The new partnership between InterContinental Alliance Resorts and Sands China will also see The Londoner Hotel in Macao join the alliance when it opens next year following the renovation and rebranding of Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central. IHG and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas have also extended their alliance through to 2027 at all five properties.
Although InterContinental Alliance Resorts is not operated or managed by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Alliance resorts embody the spirit of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts and complement the InterContinental portfolio with IHG Rewards Club perks and more than 13,000 luxe hotel rooms worldwide. Attendees can redeem IHG Rewards Club points for stays at IHG hotels worldwide and redeem Reward Nights at all five InterContinental Alliance Resorts.
In a release discussing the partnership, Jolyon Bulley, CEO of Greater China for IHG, said, “Building on the success of our partnership at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, we’re privileged to be extending the InterContinental Alliance to The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao and The Londoner Hotel. We are now able to offer our IHG Rewards Club members from around the world more than 5,000 luxury hotel rooms and suites in Macao, an exciting global destination.”
“IHG has been a valuable partner for us here in Las Vegas and we are thrilled to carry the relationship through to 2027,” added George Markantonis, president and CEO of The Venetian Resort Las Vega. “We are proud to provide IHG Rewards Club members direct access to the Las Vegas Strip and all the beautiful offerings within our resort and the award-winning Sands Expo.”
These alliance resorts maintain their bespoke identities, while also being marketed through IHG’s channels including InterContinental.com.
