The Events Industry Council (EIC) and the EIC 2024 Global Awards Task Force have announced their 2024 Hall of Leaders Inductees, who will be honored at EIC’s 2024 Global Awards Celebration in October.
The EIC Hall of Leaders is the premier recognition program in the meetings, conventions, exhibitions, hospitality and travel industry. Considered a lifetime achievement award, it recognizes outstanding leaders who have unequivocally shaped the global business events industry. More than 150 inductees have been named to the Hall of Leaders since it was launched in 1985.
Following are the 2024 Inductees:
Cathy Breden, CMP Fellow, CAE, CEM, Former Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE)
Robin Lokerman, CMM, FASAE, Group President, MCI Group
Greg O’Dell, President of Venue Management, Oak View Group
William Reed, FASAE, CMP, Chief Event Strategy Officer, American Society of Hematology

This year’s awards also will include a celebration of EIC’s 75th Anniversary, hosted by the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Monday, Oct. 7 from 5-8 pm PDT. Register to attend the event here.
