Late last year, Disney Meeting & Events announced they were constructing a new “epicenter of collaboration” at Walt Disney World—the Disney Creative Studio. Last week, the newly reimagined studio was officially inaugurated in Orlando.
Located on Walt Disney World property, the new studio is designed to house the vast resources available to professionals when collaborating with the Disney Meetings & Events team.
This headquarters for meeting planners brings together under one roof everything needed for the ultimate meeting experience, from engaging entertainment and content to inspirational decor, floral, catering and more.
“The Disney Creative Studio is more than just a location; it’s a philosophy,” explained Ken Malquist, Creative Director of Disney Meetings & Events, in a video posted to Instagram. “We don’t just plan events, we design transformative experiences that have a huge impact on you and your attendees.”
Disney Meetings & Events has also introduced new teambuilding experiences and an array of new program openers designed to create engaging and impactful moments for meeting professionals and their attendees.

Disney Does 2025
Also on the horizon for groups in 2025 are two new gathering spots. Due in late spring, the new Spaceship Earth Lounge will offer a comfortable, intimate setting inspired by the stories and legacy of the iconic structure, which first rose over the Orlando/Kissimmee landcape on Oct. 1, 1982.

In the new lounge, groups will savor culinary creations developed to complement the timeless yet timely drinks, each reflecting the elegance of the extraordinary setting. With sweeping views of World Celebration Gardens and a unique perspective of the nightly fireworks, this secluded retreat invites guests to raise a toast against a backdrop like no other.
Meanwhile, something tasty is washing ashore in the Magic Kingdom in late 2025, when a new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge opens in Adventureland. The lounge will be near the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and will incorporate the characters, lore and swashbuckling merriment associated with the ride.
