In one exercise, attendees design spirit stones to reflect what is meaningful to them.

“The spa’s expert aromatherapist will guide attendees on a journey of self-discovery via scent.’”

Ojai Valley Inn & Spa has introduced a new menu of creative wellness experiences, all of which are available for meeting and incentive groups and take just an hour or less (so they won’t interfere with the meeting agenda).

Sound Energy Therapy
Attendees can immerse themselves in the vortex energy of Ojai through this integrative journey to deeper healing. Using a customized energetic approach, the practitioner combines vibration and sound therapy with an indigenous plant ritual and subtle energy modalities to facilitate an experience for mind, body and spirit. A typical session lasts 50 minutes.

Spirit Stones at The Artist Cottage
This class begins with attendees selecting the Ojai River rock that calls to them. Then, using an array of tools including acrylic paint, markers, and stencils, they create their own design, which could be a word, animal, pattern or mandala—what matters is that it is meaningful to them. They can then bring their spirit stones home to decorate their home patio or garden and to serve as a daily inspiration. The session takes about 45 minutes.

Body Blends at The Apothecary
The spa’s expert aromatherapist will guide your attendees on a journey of self-discovery via scent. From a palate of essential oils, they will select aromatic notes to create their signature fragrance. Then they will have the chance to incorporate their signature blend into two custom body products—an oil-based organic sugar body scrub and a nutrient-rich body butter. As a finishing touch, they will get to craft personal labels for the set. The entire experience takes approximately 60 minutes to complete.

The 305-room Ojai Valley Inn & Spa is located 70 miles north of Los Angeles and has a variety of meeting and event spaces, including a 6,000-sf ballroom.
