Looking to plan a virtual cocktail party? Here are some recommendations from fellow planners and members of Prevue’s Advisory Board and Industry Influencers

We’re busy planning our own virtual cocktail party, and turned to Prevue’s Advisory Board and Industry Influencers for some recommendations. Here’s what they said.

1. Song Division

As with all SongDivision programs, music is central to Song Division’s Virtual Happy Hour. In addition to sharing stories about first concerts, memorable songs and albums, attendees take part in a virtual Rock & Roll Game Show, putting their music knowledge and talents to the test. Afterwards, they are treated to a live performance of an original song highlighting key moments and themes from the happy hour.—Recommended by Josh Adams, streamlinevents

2. rally.video

The best way to experience Rally is at an event with a group of people to really feel the energy of those around you. You can join one of their Guided Tours (disguised as weekly Happy Hours) online and meet the team to learn more.
Happy hours are held weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. ET at the Rally Bar. Sign up here.—Recommended by Liz Caruso (King), Liz King Events

3. L!VE

L!VE believes that there is no “one size fits all” solution. Your needs are specific to your event and real human connection (in the virtual world or in person), is only achieved with a strong plan, designed engagements, and interactivity that resonates. 4. Domaine de la Riviere

If you want to do something different and support a wine country business in the process, Advisory Board Member Leslie Zeck, CMP, CMM, HMCC, director of meetings, International & American Associations for Dental Research, recommends a virtual wine tasting with Domaine de la Riviere, a Russian River Valley winery, sending the wine to the participants vin advance. “I had them live and in person for my board meeting in Sonoma last Dec. and she has done virtual wine tastings for companies during COVID. Their wines are great and Marla Bedrosian is a dynamic hostess. And you support the California wineries/vintners, who are experiencing so much loss due to the fires.”
