Every Stay Gives Back from Kind Traveler adds 20 new hotels and 16 new charity partnerships.
Kind Traveler has announced the expansion of its Every Stay Gives Back (ESGB) program in celebration of Earth Day 2025. The program has added 20 new hotels and 16 new charity partnerships across 16 destinations worldwide. These include Patagonia, Chile; Maui, Hawaii; Palermo, Italy; Victoria, Canada; Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; Cannonville, Utah; and nine additional destinations across California in partnership with Visit California.
Since its launch in September 2023, Every Stay Gives Back has raised more than $530,000 for social and environmental causes. “As we celebrate Earth Day 2025, it’s clear that travel can be a powerful catalyst for positive change. Through Every Stay Gives Back, we’re not just reimagining hospitality—we’re proving that every journey can contribute to the betterment of local communities,” said Jessica Blotter, CEO & Co-Founder of Kind Traveler.
Kind Traveler’s program works with every booking method: for planners, it’s an easy way for meetings and incentive programs to contribute to local communities. With every stay at a participating hotel, a portion of the revenue is directed toward vetted local charities supporting critical causes such as wildlife conservation, food security, disaster relief, environmental restoration and more. Every dollar is measured and shared through traveler-friendly impact dashboards where attendees can track how their stay directly contributes to these causes. Just a few of the metrics found through the impact dashboards include:
• 91,652 servings of locally grown produce shared by Farm to Pantry with marginalized communities in Sonoma County.
•1,932 students served with educational art supplies with La Playa Centro Comunitario in Los Cabos.
• 458 native seabirds rehabilitated by Wildlife Center of the North Coast on the Oregon Coast.
•633 homeless dogs rescued and cared for with SAGA Humane Society in Belize.
Among the program’s new participating hotels are The Surfrider Malibu, supporting the Los Angeles Emergency Preparedness Foundation for disaster resilience; the Regent Santa Monica Beach, supporting Marine Mammal Care Center for marine wildlife rehabilitation; The Bower Hotel, supporting Emerald Keepers in sustainability initiatives on San Diego’s Coronado Island; Ojai Retreat & Inn in California, supporting the Ojai Retreat Cultural Center fostering transformation through education and cultural exploration; Hale Akua Garden Farm & Eco-Retreat in Maui, supporting Leilani Farm Sanctuary for farm and domestic animal welfare; Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa in Victoria, Canada, supporting Power to Be for inclusive outdoor experiences; and La Bella Palermo in Italy, supporting Medicare Onlus for cancer patient support and education.
