In today’s fast-paced business environment, we recognize the importance of fostering a culture of wellness. The wellness market is valued at $1.8 trillion globally, according to a 2024 McKinsey & Company report that further identified the wellness market in the U.S. as worth $480 billion. And they forecasted it to grow an additional 5 to 10 percent per year—with 82 percent of U.S. consumers citing wellness as a top or important priority in their daily lives.
The report states: “As consumers take more control over their health outcomes, they are looking for data-backed, accessible products and services that empower them to do so.”
Companies that can help make sense of this data and deliver solutions that are personalized, relevant and rooted in science will be best positioned to succeed.”
More specifically to travel and tourism, “Wellness Policy Toolkit: Wellness in Tourism,” published in March 2024 by the Global Wellness Institute, found that “the global wellness tourism market was growing 50 percent faster than the overall tourism industry between 2017-2019, and it peaked at $720 billion in 2019, before the pandemic travel shutdowns.”
Caesars Entertainment is dedicated to leading the wellness movement within the meetings and events industry. As part of our ongoing commitment to well-being, we are thrilled to have introduced comprehensive wellness options for meetings and events in Las Vegas for all nine properties as well as for our three properties in Atlantic City and our five properties in Reno/Tahoe.
Incorporating wellness into conferences offers numerous benefits and unique opportunities for meeting planners who delight their attendees and stakeholders. Wellness activities and nutritious meals help attendees stay energized and focused, leading to higher engagement and more active participation during sessions. Providing wellness options shows attendees that their well-being is a priority, also resulting in increased overall satisfaction with the event and their investment in attending.
Millennials and Gen Z, who place a high value on health and wellness, find such options particularly appealing, enhancing their experience and making the event more meaningful to them. Additionally, wellness activities can serve as unique networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect in a relaxed and positive environment that fosters a sense of community and trust. A focus on wellness can also lead to improved mental clarity and productivity, helping attendees get the most out of the conference.
Throughout our menu, meeting planners will find options highlighted with the leaf symbol indicating that these are healthier options. Plus, we’ve worked hard to make it easy to incorporate these throughout the various events. We offer creative and tasty dietary alternatives, including zero-proof botanical drinks.
The speakers and practitioners we have selected are vast and deeply committed to providing a first-class experience. There are also workshops as well as mindful practices such as meditation, EFT Tapping and even wellness challenges. In February, we are launching a wellness roadshow in seven cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Seattle, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Columbus. We want to showcase our menu and give planners a taste of what we have to offer and to meet our team.
