Silversea Cruises upgrades its fleet in new multi-year initiative.

Earlier this year, Silversea Cruises reintroduced the Silver Spirit to its fleet following a 59-day dry dock where the ship was resized and extensively renovated. It now boasts just over 300 suites and eight restaurants, and has been refurbished throughout.

“This ship provides some of the highest guest-to-space ratio at sea,” says Freddy Muller, VP of corporate & incentive sales at Silversea. “With so many options, the Silver Spirit along with our flagship the Silver Muse, we are able to accommodate more incentive groups and provide them multiple dining options during their voyage. In addition, we are now offering welcome champagne in all guest suites at time of embarkation and have announced unlimited WiFi for all guests.”

Silversea has also announced “Project Invictus,” a multi-year initiative to upgrade its ultra-luxury offerings. The first enhancements were rolled out this summer on the Silver Muse, which received a new champagne and caviar offering. The upgrades will then be extended fleet-wide, with the Silver Whisper receiving a partial refit of all guest cabins in December, followed by the Silver Wind and Silver Shadow.

“Whether you desire a limited number of suites for an exclusive incentive or a full-ship charter for a highly customized special event, Silversea luxury cruises can accommodate your next important event with extraordinary flair and value,” says Muller.

“Within our market we are seeing a demand for more adventurous destinations. With our unique destinations and fleet of expedition vessels, we are seeing clients select voyages in the Galapagos and Antarctica.”
