Planners looking for new meeting digs in Nashville, Tenn., won’t miss the massive 386-foot-tall JW Marriott Nashville that’s reshaping the city’s skyline from its location on one of the highest points in downtown.

Scheduled to open next summer, the 533-room property celebrated its topping-out milestone earlier this month, as construction reached its final height. Perhaps most significant—at least from the exterior—is the hotel’s elliptical shape and all-glass facade, designed to capture the creative spirit of the city, while also conveying a sense of luxury known representative of the JW Marriott brand.

On the inside, planners will appreciate the property’s 50,000 sf of meeting space, including two ballrooms, 16 meeting rooms and outdoor spaces that tout views of the city. Its restaurants will also play host to evening events. The sixth installment of Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak offers contemporary steakhouse fare with expansive views from its location on the hotel’s rooftop. Stompin’ Grounds will be the property’s all-day restaurant featuring local flavors, and the Stompin’ Grounds Market will provide on-the-go options for busy attendees. Attendees also won’t want to miss a nightcap at the Lobby Bar, which has an extensive cigar menu and 1,000-bottle wine collection. For groups seeking wellness experiences instead, they can find it at the full-service Spa by JW, heated rooftop pool and massive fitness center.

The 33-story property is situated adjacent to the 16-acre Music City Center complex, which means the city’s famous country music legends are close enough to easily work into a meeting.
