An oceanfront, beach house-inspired resort with vintage-glam roots has more than a few surprises in store for meetings and incentives groups.
Fresh off a major renovation, The Confidante Miami Beach of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection welcomes groups with reinvigorated meeting spaces, upgraded tech and myriad possibilities for themed events. The hotel’s private event space, team building and guest rooms give nod to its Art Deco roots—Havana-themed events to ‘50s-inspired headboards. The meetings experience, meanwhile, comes with a buffet of local flavor, whether private classes with Sobekick Boxing and greenmonkey Yoga, or a poolside popsicle and cocktail pairing break from Cielito Artisan Pops.

The 1930s House
This freestanding Spanish-style backyard bungalow dubbed The 1930s House for having been a single-family home in the ‘30s, reflects its heritage through distressed wall treatments, local artwork, a vintage chandelier and handcrafted antique leather furniture. This space was entirely refreshed to become an ideal spot for cocktail receptions and other intimate gatherings.
Crystal Therapy
The hotel’s new rooftop spa includes a treatment not found anywhere else in the world. During a customized multi-sensory “Crystal Massage Journey” in the renovated spa, participants select a healing crystal for Glacce’s Crystal Sphere, a small mystic crystal medicine ball that energetically invigorates the body. A light massage ritual ensues, followed by a “hydrating crystal elixir ceremony” infused with Bulgarian rose water served from Glacce’s crystal water bottles, which contain matching crystal obelisks inside. This is said to promote detoxification, healthy digestion and increased energy levels.
Vista Terrace
This rooftop terrace for up to 120 attendees includes strings of bistro lights, a retractable enclosure and sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. Outdoor lectures, candlelit dinners and receptions have all happened here.
Reimagined Ballroom
The new Carmen Miranda Ballroom, named after the Brazilian singer, samba dancer and film star, offers 4,639 sf, including a pre-function area and wrap-around terrace with pool, tropical landscape and ocean views. It also features new technology such as a wireless LCD projector and two 18-ft drop-down screens.

Seven new breakout rooms for up to 10 to 30 attendees feature wireless A/V, 85- or 98-inch flat panel touchscreen TVs and induction cooktops for seamless catering. Here, a mid-century, modern aesthetic is sure to inspire.
Bird & Bone
This contemporary restaurant has a countryside farmhouse vibe and plenty of Southern Charm. Groups of up to 130 seated can dine here amid tubular steel-frame chairs that complement natural oak and midcentury modern accents. Bone & Bird pairs signature bites with some of Kentucky’s best bourbons for the new VIP in-room welcome amenity, “Bourbon Welcome Experience.”
Exquisite Chocolate Therapy
Another spa treatment harnesses Exquisito Chocolates’ ethically sourced cacao for an organic, all-natural chocolate scrub blend created exclusively for the hotel by Miami’s first bean-to-bar chocolate factory. Located in Little Havana, the confectioner at Exquisito Chocolates can create mouth-watering truffles exclusively for your group and groups can also partake in truffle-making classes at the factory. Truffle decorating classes happen back at the hotel. These also make for a great in-room amenity—the hotel has its own exclusive truffle known as, The Confidante Truffle.
Beachfront Backyard
The hotel’s backyard, with lush palm trees and heated pools, offers 15,000 sf of flexible outdoor space for up to 1,000 attendees with exclusive booking.
