Greater Palm Springs is a year-round meetings and events oasis located in Southern California, where sunny skies, dramatic mountain landscapes and the friendly village attitude of its nine distinct cities combine for a memorable stay. Here are four of the area’s latest enticements for planners.

1. siteFlight Promotion for Meeting Planners

When planners make an appointment with a meetings professional, the CVB will pay for the airfare and arrange a guided tour of amenities, accommodations and activities tailored to the needs of each group. Gasoline costs are covered for planners traveling from drivable destinations.

2. New Event Space and Renovations

Renaissance Indian Wells has recently unveiled pool upgrades and fully renovated meeting space; Westin Mission Hills has debuted 3,000 sf of new outdoor event space following a $25 million property-wide renovation; and Andaz Palm Springs opens its doors in 2016 with 25,000 sf of contemporary desert-themed space.

3. Easy Airlift From NYC

JetBlue Airways is offering a seasonal non-stop service between New York’s JFK Airport and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) between Jan. 14 and May. 1, 2016. Flights are available Thursday to Monday.

4. Farm-to-table Dining

Locally sourced seasonal ingredients are showcased in the area’s award-winning restaurants and bistros. Shields Date Garden specializes in date shakes and ice cream made from the locally grown fruit, while the Coachella Valley Brewing Co. creates craft beers made from homegrown ingredients.
