Billing itself as “part rugged, part refined,” Boise welcomes attendees to “meetings in the morning, mountains in the afternoon.”

Set in southwestern Idaho at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boise’s downtown is convenient to just about everything, set seven minutes from the airport and home to the 86,000-sf Boise Centre—the state’s premier convention center—boasting 31 versatile meeting and event spaces to suit groups of up to 2,000 attendees. Within walking distance of the center are 1,600 hotel rooms and more than 100 restaurants and breweries, along with shops, art galleries, entertainment and cultural attractions.

Newly opened hotels in downtown Boise include The Sparrow, featuring locally inspired art, a lobby coffeehouse, permanent food trucks and rooms including a king room on the ground floor with a private courtyard patio.

Also new is the 122-room Hotel Renegade, boasting Boise’s first supper club, a rooftop bar, a street-level coffee shop and 5,100 sf of versatile meeting and event space.

Downtown Boise is also the launch point for scores of outdoor adventures, with hundreds of miles of trails around the corner from the city center and a river running right through the middle of town. Nearby, 41-acre Kathryn Albertson Park is a haven for wildlife and quiet contemplation, with paved footpaths and rentable outdoor gazebos available for groups.
