Following an extensive transformation, Islander Resort has elevated its meetings and events spaces, as well as newly renovated accommodations and enhanced amenities for planners interested in hosting in the Florida Keys.

“Our revitalized property redefines the meeting experience by offering both tranquility and inspiration,” said Douglas Wilkins, Senior Vice President of HHM Hotels, in a press statement. “We’re proud to welcome meeting planners and their groups to this reimagined destination.”

Event Space and Facilities

The resort now offers over 129,000 sf of flexible indoor and outdoor event space. The Islander House conference center has been meticulously redesigned, featuring the Hibiscus Hall grand ballroom, Palmetto Room and the scenic Palm Terrace for intimate gatherings accommodating 2-49 guests. The expansive Great Lawn and Coral Pointe provide picturesque backdrops for large-scale events, accommodating up to 1,000 guests.

Accommodations

Guest attendees can stay in the resort’s newly redesigned bungalows, suites and villas. Cabana Poolside Rooms include private cabanas for added luxury, while Bayside Villas feature two-bedroom townhome layouts with full kitchens—ideal for VIP guests or extended stays.

Amenities to Inspire and Engage

The resort’s amenities foster team-building mixed with relaxation. Attendees can enjoy beachfront spaces, multiple pools, a 9-hole putting course by PuttTek, kayaking, paddleboarding and sports courts. Firelight Cove offers a serene evening gathering spot, perfect for networking around bonfires.

Culinary Options

Islander Resort’s dining options enhance any meeting agenda. Drift on the Beach provides refined coastal cuisine, while Tides Beachside Bar and Coccoloba offer casual dining experiences. Sandy’s Bar and Seaside Sports cater to on-the-go attendees with snacks and drinks.
