Situated steps away from Monument Circle and the Indiana State Capitol—and just blocks from the Indianapolis Convention Center—this historic property will introduce a new level of luxury hospitality to Indianapolis as the first luxury hotel to open in nearly two decades.

With 5,000 sf of versatile meeting and event space, InterContinental Indianapolis is poised to become a premier destination for the MICE market. This expansive space is designed to accommodate a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to large conferences, and is equipped with the latest technology and support services to ensure a seamless experience for planners.

The hotel’s strategic downtown location enhances its appeal to meeting planners, providing easy access to attractions such as Lucas Oil Stadium, White River State Park, the Indianapolis Zoo, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum and the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The historic Illinois Building, which houses the hotel, underwent a $110 million restoration, preserving its ornate lobby while blending contemporary design elements. Guests will be welcomed through opulent brass doors, showcasing intricate brass grillwork and alabaster panels.

InterContinental Indianapolis offers 170 guestrooms and suites, including its Penthouse Suite, located on a private floor with views of Monument Circle. Guests can enjoy in-room amenities such as Nespresso machines and curated minibars.

Culinary offerings at the hotel will be spearheaded by Executive Chef Craig Baker, who will oversee the launch of two new dining concepts. The Serliana Cafe on the second floor will provide a casual yet refined dining experience, while Astrea Rooftop Bar, the highest rooftop bar in Indianapolis, will offer stunning views of the city and a vibrant atmosphere for social gatherings.
