Thompson Palm Springs offers a diverse array of spaces that can accommodate from 90 to 500 guests, including indoor and outdoor venues that reflect the hotel’s contemporary aesthetic. Each space can be customized to fit the specific requirements of corporate gatherings, incentive trips and social events, with a dedicated team on hand to help planners create memorable experiences.

The property’s largest space, the San Jacinto Ballroom, spans 6,200 sf and can host up to 600 guests in a variety of configurations, making it ideal for large meetings, galas or corporate retreats. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the ballroom with natural light, showcasing views of the San Jacinto Mountains and creating an inviting atmosphere for gatherings. 

Adjacent spaces like San Jacinto 1, San Jacinto 2, and San Jacinto 3 range from 1,600 to 3,000 sf, offering options for mid-size events, breakout sessions or cocktail receptions. For more intimate gatherings, Las Palmas provides 1,100 sf of meeting space for up to 120 guests, featuring a connected terrace for outdoor breaks and networking. Another highlight, Lola Rose Terrace, offers 2,500 sf of outdoor space and is perfect for those looking to incorporate Palm Springs’ scenic surroundings into their event.

“Upper Stories Buy-Out”

In a distinctive feature for larger, upscale events, the Thompson Palm Springs is preparing to unveil its exclusive “Upper Stories Buy-Out” option later this year. This adults-only tower includes 42 guestrooms, five suites and a private pool area, offering a secluded experience ideal for VIP gatherings, milestone celebrations and incentive groups. This buy-out option allows full access to the Upper Stories’ rooms and amenities, providing a private environment and elevated atmosphere for group events.

Accommodations with Desert Views

The hotel’s 168 guestrooms, including 18 suites, are designed with a bungalow-inspired aesthetic, each featuring private balconies that overlook the iconic San Jacinto Mountain range. For the ultimate in luxury, the 1,750-sf Thompson Suite offers expansive space, elegant furnishings and premium amenities, making it a standout choice for hosting VIPs or executives. Guestrooms are outfitted with SFERRA linens, signature D.S. & DURGA bath products, flat-screen TVs, black-out curtains and stocked minibars. 


Thompson Palm Springs features several dining options to complement events and group gatherings. Lola Rose Grand Mezze, led by Executive Chef Quentin Garcia, serves Levantine-inspired cuisine and opens to the hotel’s pool and swim club, providing a lively atmosphere for both casual and formal dining. 

A Hall Napa Valley Tasting Room & Wine Lounge is set to open later this year, offering wine tastings from HALL’s Northern California vineyards, adding a unique culinary dimension for attendees. In early 2025, Bar Issi, a Mediterranean concept by Melissa & Matt Hermer’s Boujis Group, will further expand the hotel’s dining offerings.
