Avianca is launching of a new direct route between Dallas and Bogota, set to begin operations on May 26, 2025. This latest addition increases the airline’s network between the U.S. and Latin America, providing more seamless travel opportunities for business travelers.
The route will operate four times weekly using the Airbus A320 family aircraft, with a total weekly seat capacity of 1,440.

This route joins Avianca’s extensive U.S.-Colombia network, which includes service from Miami, Orlando, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Chicago, Boston and Washington to various Colombian cities.
“We continue to strengthen connectivity across the Americas, offering our customers more options to travel directly between the United States and Colombia,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe, in a press statement.
“We are excited to give travelers a new way to reach Bogota from Dallas, adding to our 21 routes between the U.S. and Latin America during peak seasons. Bogota is undoubtedly a vibrant destination, rich in history, culture and fascinating places to explore,” he added.
For travel advisors, this new route presents a new opportunity to book clients on a convenient and efficient journey between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and El Dorado International Airport (BOG), a key gateway to South America.
