The Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) and Charter Air Direct are promoting a new direct flight service between Anguilla (AXA) and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU). With San Juan serving as a critical hub for over 22 weekly flights from major East Coast U.S. cities, the new route streamlines access to Anguilla for corporate retreats, incentive travel programs and business events.
Charter Air Direct offers tailored solutions for business groups, accommodating up to 64 passengers per flight. The new flight schedule includes short charter flights three times a week—Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays—with convenient departure times.
“We are thrilled to partner with ATB to promote this innovative flight option, making it easier and more efficient for travelers to experience the stunning beauty of Anguilla,” said Jeff Cole, Director of Operations for Charter Air Direct, in a press statemenet. “With ATB’s support during this launch, we eagerly anticipate welcoming visitors to the enchanting island of Anguilla.”
Phase one of the partnership will focus on brand awareness, particularly targeting travel advisors and residents in Puerto Rico, promoting Anguilla as a premier destination for discerning travelers. The ATB’s collaboration with Charter Air Direct will also include comprehensive marketing support, which encompasses cross-promotion through both company and destination websites and social media platforms.
Additionally, the ATB will engage in destination campaigns and trade presentations to further strengthen awareness within the travel trade.
New Flight Schedule:
- Flights operate three times a week: Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
- Departure from Anguilla’s Clayton J. Lloyd Airport (AXA) at 9:00 AM.
