Senior Association Relations Manager North America for VISITFLANDERS
Brecht Putman, originally from Belgium, moved to New York in 2011 to join Visit Flanders. He Manages operations for Visit Flanders Convention Bureau in North America.
In addition to implementing and executing the North America meeting marketing and sales strategy, Brecht promotes Flanders and Brussels as a convention destinations with in recent years shifting the main focus to Associations in the US and Canada. Brecht is actively involved with ASAE, PCMA, MPI and occasionally guest-lectures at New York University and Pace University on tourism and MICE industry related topics.
