Cvent Reveals 2017 Lists of Top Meeting Hotels

Cvent released its annual list of top hotels for meetings in North America as well as Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and, for the first time, the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Cvent compiled its regional lists of top 50 meeting hotels by analyzing meeting and event booking activity through its Cvent Supplier Network, which sourced more than $11 billion in meetings and events last year. The new APAC list revealed that Singapore and Sydney are top destinations for the region, with seven out of the region’s top 10 meeting hotels being from Singapore and the other three from Sydney.

“Hotels continue to advance and expand their group marketing efforts and are increasingly embracing a data-driven approach to more effectively pursue the optimal meetings and events for their venue,” says Kevin Fliess, vice president of marketing for Cvent’s Hospitality Cloud. “This coupled with another year of notable investment in renovation and other upgrades have led to shifts in the rankings as competition remains fierce even in a robust market.”

Here are lists that highlight the top 10 meeting hotels from each region, with all three top properties—Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona and Marina Bay Sands Singapore—making their first appearance in the top spot.
