The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) is America’s Caribbean setting for meetings and incentive travel, boasting world-class facilities and natural island beauty. The Territory’s three islands – St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas – are easily accessible. U.S. passports are not required for entry and there are daily, nonstop flights from major U.S. cities such as New York City, Atlanta, Miami, Boston and Charlotte.

The Territory is currently offering an incentive program called “Procrastination Pays” for meeting and incentive planners. The program offers rewards to guests who plan events at specific USVI resorts during 2015. Rewards range from a cooking class and lunch with a USVI culinary ambassador to a dinner reception at a historic USVI building with authentic island entertainment. The rewards come in three separate packages – Bronze, Silver and Gold – and are available based on the amount of guests booked by a planner.

Each island provides its own unique meeting venues and attractions. St. Croix is categorized by green rolling hills, authentic Caribbean culture and historic towns and buildings. Planners will find high-class meeting venues at hotels like The Buccaneer and the Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort or at the unique St. George Village Botanical Garden, located on the site of a former 18th-century sugar plantation. Elsewhere on the island, visitors will find soft adventure activities such as sailing, horseback riding and diving, along with restaurants showcasing iconic USVI cuisine such as kallaloo, johnny cakes and conch in butter sauce.

St. John, with two-thirds protected by the Virgin Islands National Park, is the ideal place for an “unplugged” meeting escape. Caneel Bay Resort and the Westin St. John Resort offer beautiful facilities in untouched settings and amenities such as snorkeling and spas. There is plenty of beauty to explore elsewhere on the island, with numerous beaches, hiking trails and historic plantations that can be explored.

Cosmopolitan St. Thomas has everything visitors could possibly need. From venues at high-end hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas and the Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort, to more laid-back properties such as Bolongo Bay Beach Resort and Secret Harbour Beach Resort, to picturesque non-resort venues like Coral World Ocean Park and Mountain Top, the island has something for everyone. Visitors can relax on the island’s many beaches or getting their adrenaline pumping by zip lining or flyboarding.
