5 Top Trends at event food stations, from Hanging Surf & Turf to CBD Ramen.
Event food stations have become dazzling showcases of culinary artistry that invite attendees to creative and multi-sensory F&B experiences. Celebrating flavor, culture and individual expression, they reflect overall culinary trends such as the use of fresh, local ingredients and personalized dining. Here are the Constellation Culinary Group’s five top event food station trends for 2025.
Hanging Surf & Turf. A multi-dimensional tasting journey that includes tomahawk steaks basted with herb butter, roasted potatoes, oysters cooked on lava rocks and a seafood medley of shrimp, tuna and braised octopus finished with a miso butter baste and torched for a rich, smoky flavor.
French Countryside Inspiration. This event station features modern interpretations of French classics, including a Miami-style Croque Madame croquette, a French Onion Soup interpretation on crispy bread, a planet-shaped truffle Mushroom Flan served with a gluten-free cracker and an Egyptian-style pancake filled with pulled lamb shank, date demi-glace, orange blossom yogurt, crushed pistachios and honey. The station design incorporates playful elements like floating paper airplanes and a vintage working bicycle.
CBD Ramen Bar. An interactive dining station that reimagines ramen with a customizable, wellness-focused experience. Attendees can personalize their double-insulated stainless steel ramen cups with a choice of CBD-infused or traditional herb-roasted chicken broth and a fragrant array of toppings. There are also Asian-inspired cocktails that include fresh-pressed melon drinks and CBD-infused options.
Caviar Micro Station. A luxurious caviar service is among mobile micro-stations offering popular gastronomic experiences that also include raw bars, plant-forward small plates, artisanal macaron ice cream creations and intricate fruit carving displays. Each station is adaptable and tells an elevated culinary story that evokes high-end restaurant experiences.
Passed Milkshakes. Mini milkshakes, served elegantly in shot glasses and customized with a variety of flavors and toppings, encourage attendees to mingle and add an element of fun to events. Single-serve portions make them easy to prepare and quickly pass around.
