Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has announced its IMEX America 2024 keynote speakers and Smart Monday educational tracks.
Smart Monday takes place on Mon., Oct. 7 and IMEX America continues Tues., Oct. 8 through Thurs., Oct. 10 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
IMEX Smart Monday is a dedicated day of educational offerings and forward-thinking professional development all aligned with the CMP International Standards. This year, MPI is debuting three new educational tracks: Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate & Medical Meeting Professional Certificate at Viticus; MICE Fundamentals Certificate Course; and AI-Enhanced Sales Professional Certificate Course.

Keynote Speakers
Attendees will hear from a distinctive lineup of talent during the three keynote sessions within Mandalay Bay Convention Center at IMEX America 2024, including:
- Andre Norman, “Prison to Harvard: The Power of Belief and Self-Motivation” (Mon., Oct. 7; 1:15 p.m.) – Embark on a transformative journey with Andre Norman and his remarkable personal journey from gang leader facing a 105-year prison sentence to achieving his goal of going to Harvard University.
- Justin Wren, “Purpose. Performance. Impact.” (Tues., Oct. 8; 8:30 a.m.) – Explore the power of service, the profound difference you can make in the lives of others and the transformation that occurs within yourself when you choose to live purposefully and serve selflessly.
- Olympia LePoint, “Making New Artificial Intelligence Technology Ethical & Accurate” (Wed., Oct. 9; 8:30 a.m.) – There are specific ways that will allow Artificial Intelligence to have positive impact. Former NASA rocket scientist Olympia LePoint breaks down AI and the ways to ensure it will operate effectively.
