Phase Two renovations to The Phoenician’s event spaces are complete, revealing upgrades to its meeting and ballroom venues.

Complementing Phase One renovations in 2023, which included The Camelback Ballroom, first-floor breakout rooms and public foyer spaces, the enhancements focused on several key spaces within The Phoenician, A Luxury Collection Resort, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The extensive refurbishment, under the direction of Boston-based Parker-Torres Design firm, blends contemporary and indigenous aesthetics to The Phoenician Grand Ballroom, The Estrella Ballroom, upper-level breakout rooms and hallways by integrating color palettes, original materials, patterns and textures inspired by the Native American tribes in the American Southwest, as well as the region’s flora, fauna, wildlife and topography.

“The completion of this milestone renovation is a testament to our dedication to providing an exceptional experience for guests,” said Mark Vinciguerra, General Manager of The Phoenician and The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, in a press statement. “Our elevated meeting spaces offer a harmonious blend of elegance and functionality, continuing to inspire and facilitate successful events.”

The renovated Phoenician Grand Ballroom, the largest gathering space on the property, now features an enhanced and intimate meeting space design and technological updates. Phase Two finalized refurbishments within The Grand Ballroom, The Estrella Ballroom and additional meeting rooms to include updated carpeting and wall treatments, draperies, new chandeliers and advanced lighting systems.

The Phoenician features over 160,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space, ideal for planners interested in booking various meetings, business retreats, conferences, reunions and weddings. The resort also offers three pools, an 18-hole championship golf course, an Athletic Club and the Phoenician Spa. The property also includes eight on-property dining options: J&G Steakhouse, Mowry & Cotton, The Phoenician Tavern, Afternoon Tea, The Marketplace, Thirsty Camel, 19th Hole and Kalio Kabobery.
