The Londoner MacaoThe British-themed reimagining of the integrated resort marks a major shift for Sands China.

The Londoner Macao will open next year through 2021, joining The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao as one of the Cotai Strip’s popular luxe properties. The property will incorporate four hotel brands: the The Londoner Hotel (previously Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central), Conrad Macao, Cotai Central, Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central.

Speaking to the new development, Las Vegas Sands President and COO Robert Goldstein stated, “Sands has invested heavily here because we believe wholeheartedly that Macao’s complete arrival as one of the world’s greatest tourism and business destinations is just on the horizon. The Venetian and The Parisian have each become ‘must-see’ destinations on the Cotai Strip and we have every confidence that The Londoner will be every bit their equal.”

The Londoner Macao marks Sands’ latest collaboration with British sports celeb and Sands Resorts Macao brand ambassador David Beckham, whose design aesthetic will inspire the exclusive top floor suites at The Londoner Hotel.

The Design

Grandeur and comfort characterize the resort’s aesthetic. The property will feature recreations of classic British landmarks with a facade modeled after the Palace of Westminster and Houses of Parliament—Elizabeth Tower and its iconic Big Ben clock face included. A Crystal Palace atrium centerpiece, more than 20 restaurants (including a British-style gastropub by Gordon Ramsay), retail offerings, three spas and four health clubs, and new entertainment are also in the works. Groups will be able to peruse 200 stores at Shoppes at The Londoner (previously Shoppes at Cotai Central) and meet within nearly 370,000 sf of meeting and convention space, as well as a 6,000-seat arena.
