Wellness is top of mind for attendees of all ages, and hotels are adding features and programs catering to health, fitness and relaxation of mind and body. Among them is the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, where wellness is in the forefront. Prevue spoke with David Gauthier, director of sales and marketing, about the hotel’s Stillwater Spa and many available outdoor activities.

Prevue: Do you have any new wellness initiatives for 2015?

In what ways can planners inject wellness into their programs?

Because of the beautiful year-round weather at The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel, our location is perfect for morning fun walks and fun runs for our groups. In addition: golf, tennis, biking, golf lessons and clinics, pool and lawn activities, team-building activities are a part of the overall meeting an keep attendees moving.

Have the expectations and of incentive groups changed over the past year?

Coming to a resort with a full-service spa, pools and the many activities offered is an automatic plus for groups.
