Some of the most enticing incentive opps in DC are anchored by a vibrant and sophisticated arts scene and the history (and mystery) of the US government.
It’s hard to walk DC without at least one eyebrow raise. The shadowy world of espionage—ancient to modern-day—caters to this at the International Spy Museum, which is set to move to a new 140,000-sf space with more than double the floor space next year. The new building will still include trademark interactive spy experiences.
In “Operation Spy” groups travel to an exotic fictional country where they work together to decrypt secret audio conversations, penetrate and escape from a high-security compound and interrogate a suspect agent in their quest to find a trigger device that looms over the fate of the world. “Spy in the City” thrusts them into the outside world with an interactive GPS device that sends clues, codes and audio intercepts during the one-hour mission to uncover a spy ring.
The new building will also include new resources for educational programing, a lecture hall and multifunction event space with sweeping views of DC. A highlight of the building will be full-scale Trojan Horse at the museum’s entrance. Currently at the museum, there is much ado about “Exquisitely Evil: 50 Years of Bond Villains,” an exhibit featuring more than 100 artifacts from James Bond films.
