Special event guru Michael Cerbelli wowed the audience at Meeting Professionals International’s WEC in June with a hands-on extravaganza featuring his top picks for packing punch with your event. Here are 5 standouts from Michael Cerbelli’s Hot List.

Blow-torched Gourmet Eats

The Gastro Garage was a Prevue favorite, a pumped-up presentation about preparing gourmet food using none other than a blow torch. On the menu? Everything from a Cubano sandwich to a New York strip steak.

Drone Show

Drones have gained enormous popularity but Cerbelli introduced a drone show by TLC Creative that was more like a choreographed indoor fireworks display, with ever-changing LED lights in different formations. Slick, safe for indoors and great fun.

Pancake Art

How to spruce up the most boring meal of the day? Dr. Dan the Pancake Man from Dancakes creates custom pancakes that are sure to get a chuckle out of attendees. At MPI, he entralled the audience  with one of Cerbelli—pretty lifelike, too.

Video Ball

Goodbye disco balls, hello video ball. This 360-degree programmable custom video sphere from KM Productions can be used to relay information or for a whole new level of event entertainment.

Chariot Bike

Now any event can feel like a circus show with the chariot bike and buffet train by Cirque Mechanics. The company was founded by a German wheel artist, Chris Lashua, and is known for its innovative mechanical staging.
