Ever since opening in August, the 132-room Cliff House Maine continues to attract groups with its local New England fare, activities and spa treatments.
To ring in the New Year, the property’s 9,000-sf Spa at Cliff House retreat offers attendees the Winter Rejuvenation Package to encourage health and wellness during the cold season. This hot deal includes a two-night stay with a $200 spa credit.
Inspired by the property’s natural surroundings, the spa treatments feature natural and organic products that are specifically created to enhance the body and mind and channel the connections between water, stone, sky and sand. Attendees will start the relaxation process in the cliff-side sun lounge overlooking the cliff and cove above which the property is located.
Suggested treatments include the Salt of the Sea Massage using hand-carved salt stones from the Atlantic Ocean. The Renewal Ritual uses body brushing; acupressure scalp massage; purifying Kaolin clay infused with rosemary, grapefruit and juniper berry; and a circulation-boosting guarana—all of which are implemented to liven up the skin.
The iconic Maine resort was first established in 1872, situated across 70 oceanfront acres overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. In between meeting in the property’s 25,000 sf of meeting space and relaxing in the spa, groups can partake in a variety of lawn games such as bocce ball, croquet, Polish horseshoes and corn hole as well as giant-sized chess, checkers, Jenga and even Yahtzee. Group yoga and Zumba classes are also available on the beach. Local cuisine can be found at onsite The Tiller, which features a seasonal menu of freshly caught fish, or Nubb’s Lobster Shack, famous for its Maine lobster rolls and fried clams.
