Brazil’s annual Carnival, an explosive event marking the beginning of Lent, stops the country for five days with parades, vibrant samba dancers and celebration. The Hilton São Paulo Morumbi is helping groups get in on this action, with a number of festive opportunities as part of their “Pacote Fantasia” package.

The ‘fantasy’ package includes complete makeup application by artists at the Mocidade Alegre School of Samba and authentic Carnival costumes, ultimately letting groups hit the Carnival Samba Parade at Anhembi on Feb. 14th with the Mocidade Alegre school of Samba, champions of the Carnival showcase for the past 10 years. Deluxe room accommodation for two, shuttle service to the parade with Mocidade Alegre and parking access are also included in the mix.

Hilton São Paulo Morumbi boasts the sleek design and contemporary ambience expected of a hotel located in the heart of the financial district. Local art, Brazilian cuisine, including wines from a 170-label wine cellar, live music and a rooftop pool on the 28th floor overlooking the Estaiada Bridge and city skyline all provide a solid sense of place. Views of the iconic Octavio Frias de Oliveira Bridge are found directly in front of the hotel.

The hotel accommodates up to 600 guests in 13,000 sf of meeting/event space. As part of the United Nations Business Center Complex (CENU), groups also gain underground access to the CENU shopping mall, convention center and heliport. Local sightseeing tours can be arranged by the hotel, a few off-site ‘must-see,’ ‘must-do’ attractions include the Museum of Modern Art, the Auditorium, and the Japanese garden and obelisk located in Ibirapuera Park. And with over 12,500 restaurants and 110 museums and cultural centers nearby, there are plenty of opportunities for unique dine-arounds.

Hilton São Paulo Morumbi’s fantasy package is valid for one night on Feb. 13, 2015 @ $525. Rates for additional nights will be based on regular rates starting at US $99 per night.
