In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, here are five hotels across the globe that #thinkpink to show their support through a combination of F&B treats and fundraising activities for groups to check out.
Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay
Located on the Arabian Gulf island of Bahrain, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is joining forces with local breast cancer organization, Think Pink Bahrain, to raise funds for breast cancer research by donating a percentage of proceeds from different experiences at the hotel.Those include buying pink macaroons, candies and pink chocolate cookies from the hotel’s Pink Boutique; going to the Pink Brunch at Bahrain Bay Kitchen every Friday this month; or participating in the daily Pink Afternoon Tea.
The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis
Afternoon tea takes on a pink twist as well at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, which offers four teas as part of its Pink Ribbon Tea every Saturday this month. Proceeds from the teas will help benefit the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center, which will also have physicians available to provide remarks and health information during the teatimes.
The Langham, Melbourne
Pink tea is even on the menu at the Aria Bar and Lounge at The Langham, Melbourne in Australia. Glittery raspberry butter-cream strawberry and cream macaroons with candied rose petals are just the beginning of the Sparkling Pink High Tea available for attendees every weekend this month.
Raffaello
The Raffaello hotel in Chicago is encouraging attendees to drink rosé and post to social media. For every photo tagged with #RoseForTheCure, the hotel’s parent company, Menin Hospitality, will donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills
Peninsula Hotels’ Peninsula in Pink campaign is in its seventh year, and The Peninsula Beverly Hills in California has several offerings to help raise funds that will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Its Weekly Rooftop Yoga Series, Pink Afternoon Tea and Perfectly Pink Pedicure are just a few of the things that meeting planners can incorporate into their events.
