Hotels from Puerto Rico to Costa Rica are offering a fresh take on F&B for their breaks. Following are a few creative choices:

Chocolate: With chocolate packing an even higher caffeine punch than coffee, the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa offers chocolate-inspired meeting breaks with chocolate fondue, chocolate chunk cookies and chocolate brownies.

Homemade Sodas & Egg Creams: Hilton Orlando features a homemade soda and egg cream live action station for attendees to mix and match fresh ingredients, such as homemade vanilla syrup and extracts.

Make Your Own Parfait Bar: For a healthy snack in between meetings, Executive Chef Josef Huber at Amway Grand Plaza Hotel has created a house-made granola along with yogurt for groups to create custom parfaits filled with superfoods.

Peppermint Bar Breaks: For a fresh pick-me-up, Hilton West Palm Beach creates a customized Peppermint Bar to stimulate the mind with treats such as infused tea, minted pretzels and more.

Costa Rican Coffee: Set on a 30-acre coffee plantation, the Costa Rica Marriott San Jose features a Café Chorreado experience where attendees can make coffee in the traditional way through drip process or partake in a latte design workshop.
