And good news: the resort is just a 25-minute drive from Waterford in the forested wonderland of Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Gourmet appetizers, premium bar service, champagne and shuffleboard soirees—they all happen at the resort’s High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge, which includes private event space for up to 800 attendees. As the largest resort casino in North America at 9 million sf, Foxwoods Resort Casino includes four hotels of various price points, which translates into a playground for top earning execs: seven casinos, two spas, six nightclubs, two award-winning gold courses and more than 35 dining experiences.

And speaking of dining, the latest news coming out of Foxwoods involves the opening of the two-floor Stony Creek Brewery this summer, a fully operational brewpub for 300 attendees that will be tucked in next to the resort’s 4,000-seat Fox Theatre. Attendees will find a different experience on each floor: The ground floor will house a beer garden and brew deck with a view into the brewhouse, and brew pairings with on-site restaurants, while the second floor flaunts a Southern California-themed cocktail bar, a stage for live entertainment and an elevated banquet table overlooking the property.

Other fun on-site team building experiences include a 60 mph joyride on the new 3,750-ft-long High Flyer Zipline, a 10-story freefall from Thrill Tower, adrenaline-filled indoor carting and hiking along the picturesque Pequot Trails, which Foxwoods’ executive director of resort sales, Karen O’Connell, recommends.

“As our resort is located on the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Reservation we are able to offer groups the opportunity to experience our tribe’s history, contributions and traditions through food, decor, ceremonies and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Museum and Research Center.”

Foxwoods has also partnered with the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut on give-back programs such as “Heroes Wanted”  and “The Outreach Program to End Hunger,”  both of which are offered to visiting meetings and conventions groups that want to “leave a measurable impact on local individuals and families,” O’Connell says.

As our resort is located on the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Reservation we are able to offer groups the opportunity to experience our tribe’s history, contributions and traditions.

Part of Foxwoods’ 150,000 sf of meeting and convention space includes the largest ballroom in the Northeast at around 47,530-sf. Its outdoor venues serve up striking settings for elegant dinners on the lawn, pool parties and golf-themed events.
