Planners looking for an unparalleled meeting destination will find plenty of choices in the U.S. Virgin Islands. With three distinct options —St. Croix, St. John, and St. Thomas—there are a variety of selections to identify the perfect setting to enhance a meeting’s productivity and create just the right inspiration a group will need.

“Plan Before you Land” – New Smartphone App, Revamped Meetings Brochure& RFP Feature

Meeting planners now have multiple options to assist with planning an event in the USVI.  In addition to working with the Destination Management Companies,  the USVI Department of Tourism’s official free “My Virgin Islands” smartphone app allows planners to bookmark points of interest before arriving, and access up-to-date information about activities and attractions on-island. App users can seamlessly peruse USVI photo and video galleries and view island webcam footage and site reviews.

The app is free* and can be downloaded at www.myvirginislands.com to iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices (with iOS version 3.1 or higher), Android smartphones (with Android OS version 1.6 or higher) and Blackberry smartphones (Blackberry OS version 5.0 or higher).

Additionally, the “Meetings & Incentives” page on VisitUSVI.com is a great resource for meeting planners and those looking for information about planning an event in paradise. Resources include the revamped Meetings and Incentives brochure, which provides groups with the latest services and attractions available and a RFP online form, which helps planners begin preparing the perfect getaway.
