Monterrey, Mexico – CINTERMEX, the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Monterrey, is pleased to inform the community that a two-phased expansion of its installations will begin. The board of directors of CINTERMEX has given a green light to the expansion project that has been in the making since the beginning of this year.
The first phase of the development will be construction on the east side of the buildings of a 10-level parking tower, and extension of the exposition area with 5,000 m2 (53,820 sq ft) and the convention center with 3,000 m2 (32,292 sq ft). The second phase will broaden towards the West, Fundidora Avenue, beginning with the exposition area that will reach 4,800 m2 (51,667 sq ft) and the corridors that will expand to 1,000 m2 (10,764 sq ft).
The cost is estimated at approximately 730 million pesos.
