Soon to open, Waldorf Astoria Berlin is now accepting reservations from September 1 for one of its 232 guest rooms in the city’s western district. This property will be the second Hilton Family option in the German capital and will complement the 591-room Hilton Berlin hotel situated only 2.5 miles away.
Expansion is only part of the brand’s goal. “By opening up choice in the marketplace we will be offering a hotel product to suit all sectors and budgets – from luxury through to mid-market, focused service accommodation,” explains Simon Vincent, president of Hilton Hotels Corporation – Europe. “The introduction of our modern luxury hotel brand to one of Germany’s finest cities is representative of our strategy to integrate our successful Hilton Family of Hotel brands into key destinations throughout Europe.”
Situated in a prime location near Bahnhof Zoo train station, the Art Deco influenced Waldorf Astoria Berlin is located near many of the city’s attractions, including the popular Kurfürstendamm shopping district. The 31-story modern structure features over 12,100 sf of dedicated conference and meeting facilities, with a ballroom and five conference rooms.
In addition to a lavish Guerlain Spa, the only one in Germany, hotel’s signature restaurant Les Solistes will be headed by Pierre Gagnaire, the three star French head chef of Sketch in London, renowned for fusion of classic French cooking techniques with a modernized approach to flavors.
The icing on this cake: Waldorf Astoria Berlin offers incredible panoramic views of the Berlin skyline from every guest room, suite and apartment.
