Big Cedar Lodge offers a magical experience to groups by redefining the very ‘nature’ of luxury.
“The definition of luxury has certainly changed over the past few years,” says Deborah Cohen, director of meeting and convention sales for the Branson CVB. “While it used to mean high-end experiences, it’s now more about having authentic experiences and immersing oneself in a destination’s culture. We can offer high-end experiences, but also authentic experiences such as fishing, spending time on our lakes and the unique live entertainment that can only be found here.”

Navigating the Lost Canyons
For the ultimate VIP experience, the property’s Top of the Rock Ozarks Heritage Preserve is hard to beat. It begins with a roughly two-mile, self-guided trek on an electric cart through the Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail. After crossing an ancient bedrock canyon, groups can sample specialty drinks at the Lost Canyon Cave Bat Bar.
Magical Golfing
Attendees can enjoy a round of golf on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Top of the Rock Golf Course. At the 9th and final hole, a hidden staircase built into the course snakes through a garden to a secret door disguised as a bookshelf. Inside is the National Wild Turkey Federation room, a private dining area that is connected to the property’s Osage Restaurant. With views of Table Rock Lake, the space can host groups of up to 14 for dinner and drinks.
History, Art & Bagpipes at Sunset
Groups will undoubtedly get lost in the seemingly infinite art installations throughout Top of the Rock, but the centerpiece is its Ancient Ozarks History Museum that explores over 12,000 years of local history. April through October, a bagpiper performs a sunset ceremony of Amazing Grace and an authentic Civil War-era cannon is fired—both can be viewed from the Osage Restaurant.
