Q: How does Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach in Cancun deliver solid ROI for groups?
A: The Grand Coral Beach delivers ROI as a complete team. When meetings and incentive programs are occurring at our hotel, the entire team truly is involved in every aspect in order to make the program fantastic. The property’s well laid out meeting space, multiple dining options and a breathtaking beach/pool area provide a spectacular ambience that heightens the overall group experience.
The catering team has created new meal options for programs that are looking for all-inclusive type plans. And we have multiple meeting group plans that allow us to tailor fit the hotel and services to whatever meeting planners are looking for.
We have also recently increased our internet capabilities on-property to allow guests to use multiple devices throughout the property and stay connected while conducting their meetings.
Q: How does Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach deliver increased ROE (Return on Experience)?
A: ‘Experience’ is a key term that we hear from planners these days. There are several fantastic destinations and hotels that can be selected in the country, but planners also want an experience that their attendees will talk about and never forget.
One of the new ideas that our property has come up with is our GEM SPA Dinner. The experience takes place in our main spa lobby where guests use the massage pool prior to their dinner. Once they are relaxed, they then have a gourmet dinner in the cabanas of the spa, which is always a unique event for our groups.
There is another option as well utilizing the spa. Our chefs prepare a variety of wonderful meals throughout the week that varies based on the season. Once the dinner is completed, we take everyone to our GEM SPA Relaxation Room. There, they will enjoy our many excellent desserts while listening to a DJ, followed by one of our signature flaming coffee drinks.
Q: Are there any parts of a program you’re seeing where groups are willing to spend a little extra?
A: Traditionally, award events have always seemed to have a higher budget ceiling for meeting and incentive planners. With incentive programs playing a huge role at our property throughout the year, companies want to make sure their top performers are receiving the best experience possible. The food and beverage is always exceptional, and the quality of the music and A/V are always very important to create a great event.
