At first impression, the 269-suite Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village is a breathtaker. Two sky-high towers rise 18 floors, overlooking Destin on the northern Gulf Coast in Florida. Planners and attendees always call this area “a true hidden gem” of the Sunshine State. Although have no misconceptions, there’s nothing quiet or hidden about the Emerald Grande’s presence in this town.

Life inside the Emerald Grande is luxurious and feels exclusive, but by offering meeting spaces for different tastes and budgets, the resort becomes a popular place to book events for groups of all sizes.

“If you tell us what you want, we’ll create it for you—we can make it happen,” says Lesan Gouge, group sales manager. “Our chef will even sit down and write a new menu for you. This makes it easy for every size of group from the small meet up to large corporate functions that book the entire hotel.”

There’s a real feeling of welcome that surrounds the resort and staff, as one is greeted by attentive valet and front desk personnel. The check-in process moves swiftly, making easy to setting in and begin exploring all the property has to offer, before heading to the resort’s private beach or HarborWalk Village shops.

The views of the emerald seas inside the residential suites are amazing from every floor. There are four options ranging from 1- to 4-rooms, and all of them have full kitchens with granite counters and new appliances.

“We often hear from planners that Emerald Grande feels like the Caribbean without a passport,” says Gouge. “But at the same time we’re very accessible for groups, especially from Tennessee to Texas.”

Gouge explains that groups also enjoy the long list of affordable activities and entertainment in the immediate region. HarborWalk Village offers waterfront shopping, panoramic oceanfront dining, tasteful nightclubs, weekly fireworks with a jet flyover, seasonal festivals, world class fishing and every type of yacht you can imagine. There’s also a designer outlet mall just 15 minutes away.

For meeting facilities, the event floors within the building, come with their own entrance from the elevators as well as from the complimentary parking garage.
