The long-awaited Delano Las Vegas has now joined the Strip, adding a new venue for groups looking for style between meetings. The hotel is ideal for smaller groups, says Stephanie Glanzer, vice president of sales, who calls the new hotel “the place for confident style leaders.”

The Delano officially opened September 2. Its 20,000 sf of meeting space includes the 1,257-sf Sage Living Room, a meeting and social space furnished with oversize armchairs and similar comforts. Groups can personalize their experience in the hotel’s 31 meeting rooms and four boardrooms. Attendees getting together for breakfast or lunch can savor panoramic views of The Strip from the 16,000-sf restaurant on the top floor. Groups also have convenient access to the three-level convention center at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, next to The Delano.

The Delano is all-suite (1,117 of them, including several allowing dogs). It has many unique spaces:

Arrival and Main Lobby: The arrival area includes an installation of a 10-foot tall, 126,000-pound divided boulder sourced from the Nevada desert. Down the main lobby near the reception area is another art installation, comprised of hundreds of small rocks by renowned Korean artist Jaehyo Lee.

3940 Coffee + Tea: A beverage spot serving artisanal teas, freshly squeezed juices and artisan-roasted coffees, including the exclusive Delano blend, in a comfortable retreat. Guests also can enjoy exotic tastes from top coffee-growing regions, including Ethiopia, Colombia and Guatemala, served tableside using the Clever Coffee system, a combination French press and filter-drip machine.

Della’s Kitchen: A café where the menu is centered around local and regional ingredients, including a variety from nearby hydroponic farms and Delano Las Vegas’ own greenhouse, which supplies herbs for breakfast and lunch menus

Franklin: A lounge featuring rare, premium liquors, more than two dozen craft beers by the bottle and a selection of wines by the glass, plus small bites and appetizers ranging from fried pig’s ears to charcuterie. Entertainers, including up-and-coming DJs, perform live through0ut the week.

BATHHOUSE Spa: A two-story, 14,000-square-foot oasis with 13 treatment rooms, separate hot-and-cold plunge pools, hot whirlpools, eucalyptus steam rooms, redwood saunas, relaxation lounges, vanity rooms, a nail salon and a state-of-the-art gym.
