Last fall, the 598-room Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Northwest Florida began the second half of a major hotel renovation, upgrading 200 of the Spa Tower rooms, the main lobby, hotel pool and the signature Sandcastles restaurant. The $12.5 million project is scheduled for completion in the spring. Last February, the hotel wrapped a $5.5 million renovation to all meeting space and the onsite restaurant, Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood.
The beachfront hotel is located along pristine white sand beaches in Destin, Florida, providing groups with a relaxing and luxurious venue for meetings and events. The upcoming renovation will welcome groups with a breathtaking view of the Emerald Coast from the moment they enter the property. The newly designed lobby will be dramatically enhanced with a clean, modern and exotic aesthetic.

“This transformation is part of a multi-year, resort-wide renovation project which once complete will have touched every aspect of the resort,” says GM Gary Brielmayer.
The refurbishment of the meeting space includes natural stones, tiles and a color palette of indigos and ivory. As guests gather within the 9,504 sf Emerald Ballroom, they’ll feel as if they never left the refreshing and breezy beaches.
Other renovations include the 150-seat Seagar’s Prime Steaks & Seafood restaurant, the only establishment in Destin with a AAA 4-Diamond rating. The restaurant reopened with a new fire and water feature as the main focal point. The design includes comfortable lounge with plush seating and soft colors to match the traditional Brazilian cherry wood and mahogany accents. The walls are draped with glass racks that are filled with various international wines from the establishments 600-label wine list.
