The 319-room Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Southwest Florida reopened on Monday after a two-week closure to clean up after Hurricane Irma, and it plans to reopen its on-site golf course next week.
“The staff has done an outstanding job getting the resort ready to again welcome guests, and I am so proud of the work they’ve put in,” says the resort’s General Manager Jason Parsons. “Admittedly, it has not been easy, as there was a lot of clean-up to be done, but guests and area residents will be very pleased to see that The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club is again the resort they love.”
To celebrate the reopening the beachfront property will host the resort’s 32nd annual SummerJazz on the Gulf concert this Saturday, Sept. 30. The free event was originally scheduled for Sept. 16, and it will feature the originally scheduled Late Night Brass 10-piece band.
Group staying at the hotel will appreciate the more than $50 million in renovations and enhancements that it has undergone in recent years. That includes the $9 million reinvention of its Jack Nicklaus–designed golf course that was completed last November.
Attendees staying at the property can also expect an abundance of amenities and activities, including a beachfront pool complex with two pools, whirlpools and locker facilities; the Mary C. Watkins Tennis Center with six Har-Tru courts; beach rentals; and retail shops. The hotel’s popular Sunset Beach Bar & Grill is an ideal spot for groups to gather and watch one of the area’s famed sunsets in between meeting in its 34,000 sf of meeting space.
