From the massive Moon Palace to the ultra-luxurious Le Blanc Spa Resort, Palace Resorts features distinctive characteristics catering to varying groups at its 8 properties. Alan Doyle, vice president of global sales, meetings and incentives, shares details of the different group experiences.

1. Do you offer any teambuilding activities that facilitate creativity amongst peers?

Through the Palace Foundation, our philanthropic arm, teambuilding opportunities include the release of sea turtles into the ocean throughout the summer, building wheelchairs that are donated to the local community, and even FAM trips focused on CSR that give attendees the chance to visit a special needs school to plant trees and make crafts with children.

2. Can you recommend any festivals that provide groups with an authentic local experience?

As the largest property in Cancun, both in size and meeting/event capabilities, Palace Resort’s signature property, Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort offered an idyllic backdrop for the third annual Wine & Food Festival Cancun. Celebrating global flavors, Moon Palace’s Gourmet Tasting Village was one of the festival’s largest events and allowed guests from around the world an opportunity to experience mouthwatering international cuisines from visiting celebrity chefs.

Since opening in 2014, the property’s convention center, Moon Palace Arena, has hosted influential conferences and events including 2014 Tianguis Turistico. Fully equipped with smart technology and the latest audiovisual equipment, Moon Palace Arena offers a total of 140,000 sf of versatile space, capable of hosting up to 10,000 guests at one time.

3. In what ways has your resort catered to right-brain (creative) planner requests in the past?

At no extra cost, Palace Resorts’ conference department works closely with clients to custom design theme parties, focusing on the corporation’s messaging and type of event. Clients also work with audiovisual experts on-site to help them bring all of their ideas to life. Planners can also take advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi and make complimentary long distance calls to the U.S. and Canada from their guest rooms.

Furthermore, each of our eight stunning oceanfront resorts located throughout Mexico, including our newest property Moon Palace Jamaica Grande, (expected to open in Jamaica early 2015), feature distinctive characteristics which cater to varying groups. From the bohemian boutique, Isla Mujeres Palace and ultra-luxurious AAA Diamond Le Blanc Spa Resort to our signature property Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, the largest in Cancun, and divers’ paradise Cozumel Palace, there’s truly something for every group, no matter the size or needs.
