Radisson Blu St Martin

The recently-renovated Radisson Blu Resort, Marina & Spa, St. Martin offers an idyllic blend of European styling with Caribbean flavor in an intimate setting. The 18-acre luxury resort on the Northwest coast of French St. Martin is “more than just a tropical destination,” says Fabienne Cartier, director of catering/conference services. “We’ve seen a growing demand for event experiences that move beyond the traditional and incorporate the distinct cultural elements of the island. Creative concepts like Creole buffets, beachside white parties and rum-tasting cocktail events highlight our French-Caribbean traditions and help planners create a truly exceptional event.”

Outdoor events have the option of a 5,000-sf oceanfront pool terrace or the 1,600 sf of beachfront that stretches into the Anse Marcel cove. Indoors, the 7,000-sf Caraibe Ballroom has updated lighting, sound systems and AC.

“With the option of conference space, an oceanfront pool terrace, lush gardens and a white sand beach, meeting and event opportunities are limitless,” says Cartier.

An exclusive water taxi service shuttles guests between Princess Juliana International Airport, 25 minutes away, and the resort’s private marina. The 63 suites and 189 rooms are decorated with contemporary French/Caribbean furnishings. Amenities include a full service spa, fitness center, property-wide WiFi and three onsite dining venues. Le Marché offers a breakfast buffet that varies daily. Le Lobby Bar offers the region’s finest rums and tapas. And C Le Restaurant serves Euro/Caribbean fine-dining cuisine.

The Radisson Blu Resort, Marina & Spa is part of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. The resort received a TripAdvisor 2012 Travelers’ Choice award and won the prestigious Certificate of Excellence for consistent outstanding traveler reviews.
